Heather Chapman-Henry is a clinician with 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She has worked extensively with individuals, children and families in a variety of settings, and currently works with adults  and adolescents at RiverStone Wellness Center.

Over the course of her clincial career, Heather has developed expertise in the areas of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management,  grief/loss, parenting, sensory integration, autism, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).  She is clinically trained in multiple proven trauma therapies and has been certified in EMDR therapy by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).  Understanding the healing power of research-proven therapies, she is also able to use an eclectic approach in the counseling process to help individuals, groups, and families improve functioning and emotional well-being.  Heather offers optional art and experiential “play” techniques to help clients process experiences, express feelings, reduce stress, increase self-awareness, improve communication, and develop a greater sense of control.
