Dr. Renee Gibbs  currently  practices  psychology  in general mental health, with specialties in LGBT care and eating  disorders.   She  was  recently  nationally recognized as a subject matter expert in eatng disorder treatment.  She brings experience and commitment to advocacy to her work at RiverStone Wellness Center.  Dr. Gibbs spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest and completed graduate training in Seattle.  After a year in Ankara, Turkey for research, and a year in New York for internship,  she  relocated  to  Arkansas for post-graduate  fellowship  and  decided  to  stay for a while.      Dr. Gibbs has specialized certifications in evidence-based eating disorder treatment, transgender clinical care,  Interpersonal  Therapy,  Cognitive  Processing Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.  Additionally, she remains interested in clinical practice and research in  sociocultural  adaptation.  She  is  excited  to join the practice at RiverStone Wellness Center and contribute to a holistic care model.

When not  practicing  psychology,  Dr. Gibbs is an avid Latin dancer, with particular focus on Argentine Tango.  She also  enjoys hiking, kayaking, dining, and travel.  She loves spending time with freinds and her tiny dog Ben, as well  as  visiting  family in Portland  as  often  as  possible.
